Logic board of iPhone 7s Plus

As we are getting closer to the date of the official unveiling of the iPhone 8/7s, the hardware components allegedly belonging to the said phone has been leaking at an increasing pace. This time we are getting a look at an alleged internal hardware board of the upcoming iPhone 7s.

Logic board of iPhone 7s Plus

Benjamin Geskin, an Apple leaker, has tweeted the photo of an alleged bare login board of the iPhone 7s Plus via its Twitter handle giving us a clear look inside the handset. While the screw holes on the leaked logic board are almost identical to the current iPhone 7 Plus internals, but the difference lies in the top narrow part which seems smaller than the current model.

The leaked photo shows only the bare logic board. By ‘bare’ I mean it does not have any component embedded on it just yet. The outline on the logic board shows places for the A11 chipset and the modem (by intel?) meant for 2017 iPhone models. And if you did not miss a recent A11 chipset leak, the processor placement on the logic board shows a design consistent with that leak.

The Weibo, a Chinese social media network, has also seen a pair of images posted on it allegedly showing the display assembly of the iPhone 7s. Those images do not have any surprises as the iPhone 7s models are expected to come in a similar design to the current iPhone 7.
