Facebook To Filter And Mark Fake News in Germany As ‘Disputed’

Post the U.S. elections, Facebook has come under the radar for playing a key role in spreading fake news through its platform. The company announced in December that it is taking some steps to combat fake news in the US. Now, ahead of the German elections later this year, Facebook has announced that it is introducing new tools on its platform for German users to help take down fake news.
