Apple Maps have been under fire since their release in iOS 6, mainly for misleading directions that were mentioned in several reports. However, could these Maps improve their reputation by proving that the Loch Ness Monster exists?

If the discovery by two people is to be believed, then it may happen. The images during the use of Apple maps show a mystery shape in the water at the famous Loch, which could be Nessie. The image was taken by a satellite in the atmosphere when Apple Maps called on it for gathering data.

The picture has been the study of Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club in the last 6 months, which has been ruling out several explanations over time and has been exited that it might actually be something true.

It has to be noted that the Fan Club collects records of all Loch Ness Monster sightings, and then tries to sort out reality. The images show the satellite captured the monster swimming under water. It shows something under the Loch waters with two flippers. The creature measures 50 ft in size, which makes it slightly smaller than a whale, but still big.

The news is exciting, considering it was Apple Maps that detected the creature rather than Google. While this discovery doesn’t point towards rejuvenation, some publicity is always welcome, and may just push Apple to do something out of the wild.
