The next generation djay is now here for Mac and is available on sale at the Mac app store. The application has been available for iPhone and the iPad and has been highly rated since it was released.

This update allows you to play your music on an iTunes-like interface rather than asking you to create another music library on top of what you already have like other DJ software. Now you can play, record or mix your sessions and also imports your saved play-lists. The Automix option mixes a play-list automatically along with DJ transitions.

Now for iCloud integration, cue points or meta-data created and saved with djay on your iPhone, iPad or Mac are saved to the cloud and transferred to the rest of your iOS devices. There are 4 color coded cues that you can assign to each deck, the software supports two decks. The application is also compatible with iTunes match which allows you to buy songs on the go and practice on your iPhone or iPad , and then you can save your progress on your Mac when you reach home.

The software also allows for Harmonic match by automatically finding songs with the same keys and pairing them together. You can then arrange them by key , or even transpose them into different keys allowing for a better soundtrack creation.

The  Algoriddin designed djay is for beginners and professionals alike so any of compatible peripherals can be attached easily. For pre-cuing songs, you can attach a splitter cable to hook up headphones along with the speakers. This software also allows for a physical controller along with microphones. Check out this website for compatible controllers.

The djay is available for separate downloads and a separate price tags for different iDevices. The iPhone version is currently on sale at 99 cents while the iPad and Mac versions are priced at $19.99.
