Adobe has released today its Adobe PDF reader application for iOS devices. As you know, Adobe and Apple haven’t been the best of friends and Cupertino`s company on-going kicking Adobe`s flash technology out of the iOS platform hasn’t helped the situation, but regardless of these issues, they remained dormant enemies.

The new Adode PDF reader allows you to read and interact with several types of files including encrypted ones and Adobe LiveCycle rights-managed PDF files. Adobe is giving iOS 5 users two tools to create and properly read PDF documents respectively.

Adobe Reader’s App Store description:

“Adobe Reader is the free global standard for reliably viewing and sharing PDF documents across platforms and devices. Easily and efficiently access the widest range of PDF file types —including PDF Portfolios, password-protected PDF documents and Adobe LiveCycle rights-managed PDF files. Now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, Adobe Reader offers fast, high-quality interaction with PDF.”

The app is available for free on the App store.
