In July 2009 at the TED Global Conference held at Oxford , Eric Giler As the CEO of MIT Presented us to what they called WiTricity as in wireless electrecity, Once i heard that i was shocked and the image of a Tesla Coil popped in my head, But theyhad a different idea which is to create an Electromagnetic Waves and connecting a coil -which will transform this Electromagnetic waves to Electricity- to what ever you want to power on
Wirless charging is avilable now on Palm Phones, But i guess we can expect more from Apple.
As For the USB Port it maybe Replaced with the faster Thunderbolt That Apple and Intel co-developed which provides power and 10Gbps of data and display.
