The developer Tyler Flowers who is behind WeeTwitter notification center comes with a new widget for iOS 5 notification center called WeeFacebook and the widget is available to download for free.

Well, at the moment Apple hasn’t yet confirm that widgets will be available to third-party developers in the App Store, we can’t help but assume the company is aware of the possibilities widgets create. So if you liked to get this widget you must have a  jailbroken version of Apple’s iOS 5 beta to be able to use this widget on your iOS device, but there is only one problem that you will have to install it manually but don’t worry here are three easy steps:

STEP 1 : Install MobileTerminal app which is found in Cydia, and then set up iPhone Explorer on your computer. Once you are done with that, plug your device into your computer.

STEP 2 :  Now on your computer, download this .deb file, then run iPhone Explorer and copy/paste the file you’ve just downloaded into /var/mobile directory.

STEP 3 :  To install this widget for iOS 5’s Notification Center, launch MobileTerminal and switch to administrator mode, by typing login, followed by root. Next you need to enter your password which unless you’ve already changed it will be alpine. The final part of the installation requires the following text to be entered:

# /usr/bin/dpkg -i /var/mobile/com.manuelgebele.weefacebook_1.0.1-1_iphoneos-arm.deb

That’s it you are done and ready to use the widget on your iPhone.
