The iOS Settings app is comprehensive, which is great when you want to make bigger changes. For those small, frequent changes, however, it can be a little tedious. Here’s a look at how to install a jailbreak app called SBSettings that’ll let you swipe on your home screen and bring up a quick settings panel.

SBSettings

The video above will give you a full demonstration of how to install and operate SBSettings, but here are the basic steps:

  1. Search for SBSettings in Cydia and install it. HERE.
  2. Allow Cydia to restart SpringBoard.
  3. When Springboard has started up, swipe from left to right across the status bar on your iOS device. You’ll see a settings panel appear and you can change any of those settings easily.
  4. Tap the “X” in the corner to close the SBSettings panel.

SBSettings is theme-able and extensible, too, so you can search Cydia for additional themes and plug-ins to make it look and function the way you want.
