Sn0wbreeze 2.2 released, allows you to create custom iOS 4.2.1 firmware files on Windows

iH8sn0w has released the Sn0wbreeze 2.2 which allows Windows users to create custom iOS 4.2.1 files. Sn0wbreeze is the Windows port of PwnageTool. Using Sn0wbreeze 2.2 you can update your iPhone 4, 3GS or 3G to pre-jailbreaked iOS 4.2.1 without upgrading to the new baseband so that you can unlock your iPhone with ultrasn0w.

Note: Mac users can download PwnageTool 4.2 from here to update to iOS 4.2.1 without upgrading baseband.

Download Sn0wbreeze 2.2 for Windows

After jailbreaking your iPhone with Sn0wbreeze 2.2 follow the steps below to unlock your iPhone with ultrasn0w.

  • Run Cydia from your iPhone.
  • Tap the Manage tab and select Sources.
  • Now tap the Edit button at the top and then click Add.
  • Add this repo:
  • Now tap the Search tab
  • Write ultrasn0w 1.2.
  • Select and install the ultrsn0w 1.2.
  • Reboot your iPhone.
  • Done!
