Microsoft Essentially Confirms Windows Phone Is Dead

At one point of time, Microsoft wanted Windows Phone to be the third ecosystem after iOS and Android. After what can possibly be described as a half-hearted attempt, the company today confirmed that Windows Phone is essentially dead. Microsoft has no plans of updating Windows Phone with new features or releasing new devices running the OS.
