CEOs of Google, Apple, Facebook Sign Open Letter Asking Trump to Protect ‘Dreamers’

Leading silicon valley CEOs and business leaders including Apple CEO Tim Cook signed an open letter meant for President Donald J Trump, asking him to protect DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). DACA was set in place to help minors and children who enter the U.S. illegally. They are offered a legal work permit, thus saving them from being deported. Children who come under DACA are often referred to as the “Dreamers”.
