Saurik has released a new update for Substrate Safe Mode that makes this feature “safer” in iOS 10.
According to the changelog, now when your device goes into safe mode, the expected dialog is displayed properly to notify you that Springboard has crashed. The dialog provides an option to restart your device and get out of safe mode.
