Apple’s Latest Patent Describes Using the iPhone to Access and Control Vehicles

The latest patent granted to Apple by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office describes “portable devices” that provides the owner of a vehicle with full control over it. The portable device depicted in the diagram looks like an iPhone that would be able to wirelessly communicate to the car and issue commands to it.
