Apple buys a former semiconductor plant in North San Jose for $18.2 million

Silicon Valley Business Journal reports that Apple has purchased a 70,000 sq. foot building at 3725 N. First Street in North San Jose for $18.2 million. The building was previously used as a manufacturing plant for a semiconductor company called Maxim Integrated Products.
