Apple reportedly has its sights set pretty high with the launch of the iPhone 6S. The report indicates that Apple is planning to produce a record number of the new devices, all the way up to 90 million by the end of the year. The WSJ notes that Apple believes that even the minor changes to the hardware’s design won’t hold back sales this time around.
And that could very well be due to the inclusion of other features, including Force Touch. Indeed, several reports from the start of 2015 have suggested that Apple will indeed include the feature with its upcoming iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. As is par for the course for an “S†launch, the hardware design will stay the same as the previous version of the handset, with some changes to the camera, software and other areas.
Interestingly enough, the report from the WSJ also indicates that Apple will include a brand new color with the now-standard Space Gray, Silver and Gold options. What that color will be, though, still remains a mystery. Some rumors have suggested it could be “Rose Gold†option, while others believe it could be a shade of pink.

In addition to â€the biggest camera jump ever,†as per John Gruber, the forthcoming iPhones are thought to feature an updated Qualcomm baseband modem for up to twice as fast 4G LTE networking at 300Mbps, improved NFC, faster and more reliable Touch ID, an Apple-designed “A9†processor with 2GB of RAM and more.
