Google unveils Nexus Player for $99, first Android TV device

 
 

Along with the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, Google also released its first Android TV powered device in collaboration with ASUS — the Nexus Player, to take on Apple TV, Amazon’s Fire TV and Roku.
The media player can be used for streaming your movies, music and videos to your TV. It’s also a gaming device, which allows you to play Android games on your TV with a gamepad (sold separately).
