Apple drops cross-appeal from judgment in Samsung trial, no longer seeking permanent injunction

The Apple vs. Samsung court hearings went on for quite some time, and finally saw a judgment sent down in early May of this year. Following that, Apple sought a cross-appeal of the ruling, aiming to bring a permanent injunction of some Samsung-branded products. Now, it looks like Apple has reversed course.
