After the release of the iPhone 4S and its most impressive feature Siri, hackers tried to control other devices using Siri and through a Siri proxy. Of course, it`s not every man`s game and not everyone can lay their hands on a Siri proxy.

That in mind, this pieces of news will be interesting to you. A new leaked Apple patent application suggests that Siri will be used to control other devices as well. The patent lists desktop computers and notebooks as possibilities.

The patent points that there will be no need for storage, microphone or speakers on the connected devices since that is already available in the iPhone itself. Basically, you will be using your iPhone to command other devices.

The patent also says that there will also be the ability to distinguish voices, which is a very good addition for users who like to keep user accounts.

Before the launch of the new iPad, the majority of users were hoping Apple would port Siri to the iPad, but unfortunately we only got dictation.

That patent may not materialize eventually. However, it`s quite interesting.
