OLED-Display, in a report, claims that they have gotten their hands on a document from Samsung dated from December 2011 where Apple is said to be launching a 7-inch tablet in Q3 of 2012.
According to Analyst JungHoon, Apple will launch a new 10-inch iPad early 2012, the iPad 3 coming in just a few days and another 7-inch iPad or an “iPad mini†in Q3 of this year .
Chang adds that Apple is may include flexible display panels for the iPad mini. He also confirmed the iPad 3 featuring high-resolution IPS panels. Samsung has integrated flexible displays in Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet.
Whether Apple is actually planning on a smaller iPad or not is officially in the dark, but I guess if it indeed is, more will surface after the iPad3 event scheduled for March 7th in San Francisco, California at the Yerba Buena Center of Arts where the iPad2 was announced.
