Some of you have encountered a problem with white icons that some of the apps display after jailbreaking. Today we are showing you a simple and easy way to get rid of those annoying white icons using Springtomize 2.
For those of you who are not familiar with Springtomize. It`s one of the most powerful jailbreak tools that allows you to customize your iOS device bringing you tons of tweaks [Read More HERE]. A couple of months ago, Springtomize 2 for iOS 5 was released bringing some new improvements.
Back to our white icons issue, here`s how to can get rid of them:
Step 1: First thing, open Springtomize 2 from your iPhone, and if you haven’t got it you can download it from BigBoss repo.
Step 2: Make a change to Springtomize (i.e. enable and then disable) and then tap “Reload†in the upper right-hand corner, followed by “Reload Settings†on the pop up dialogue.
Step 3: You should see a message on Home screen that says “Reloading Settings†followed by “Cleaning Caches†and “Rendering Iconsâ€. Your white app icons are now replaced with the proper app icons.
What`s really good is that you won`t have to reboot or respring your iDevice.
