In late December, Pod2G released the long-awaited A4 devices untethered jailbreak on Corona and RedSnow brining much excitement to all jailbreakers and he along with the “Dream Team“ are currently working on the untethered jailbreak for A5 devices (iPhone 4S/iPad 2).
Some puzzling news have surfaced by a number of jailbreak developers who say that Apple has patched up the Corona exploit, used in Pod2G`s jailbreak, in the latest version of its mobile operating system 5.1 which means if you want to keep your phone jailbroken ,make sure it`s running iOS 5.0.1
The software is still in beta status ,but we have had 3 betas so far. So, it won`t be very far before we get the official release. This rumor has not been yet confirmed by MuscleNerd or other prominent Dev Team member. However, just to be on the safe side, make sure you are running iOS 5.0.1 because once 5.1 is released, you won`t be able to access it.
