Finally, iPhone 4S is about to make its way into China. China Unicorn, the iPhone carrier, is now getting ready to receive the iPhone 4S by Christmas or New Year. As you know, China Unicorn stepped down from the iPhone selling competition due to a delay in acquiring the necessary permit.

The China`s Ministry of Industry and Technology (MIT) managed to obtain the required network access license from regulators to sell the product in China. The device iPhone 4S received a three- year valid Ratio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate (RTETAC), a requirement needed to get MIT`s network access license.

The model submitted for testing was compatible with GSM, WCDMA, HSDPA / HSUPA, Bluetooth, and WAPI (WLAN Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure).

China Unicorn is expecting the device launch this month and they also reported that staff training and network testing is completed.

Hopefully, China will enter Christmas with a brand new iPhone.
