We talked before about a jailbreak tweak called Icon Project which allows you to create custom icons with specific URLs to various settings. The tweak cost 99 cents in the App store.

We offer you today a Free web-based alternative which does basically the same thing as Icon Project, but for free. The app is developed by Jeff Broderick for your iPhone and it doesn’t require a jailbroken iPhone.

Although the software provides a small amount of shortcut options, its still very handy for users who go into complex areas of the settings panel like the notification area and the Bluetooth Screen.

Here are the simple steps to install it now:

Step 1: Open Safari and navigate to: brdrck.me/settings

Step 2: Once the page loads, click on the arrow-leaving-the-box icon. Sorry, not really sure what that icon is called.

Step 3: Click on ‘Add to Home Screen’.

Step 4: Name the shortcut as you wish, and then click on ‘Add’

Tweets have already expressed gratitude and appreciation for a job well done on Jeff`s twitter account @brdrck.

Try it out for yourself now, at brdrck.me/settings.
