iPhone 4S`s battery drainage fiasco has been a source of irritation for a lot of iPhone 4S enthusiasts and owners. Knowing that your battery can die on you any time does not invoke any feelings of security. Apple has admitted that there in fact is a problem and seeded to developers its new iOS 5.01 followed by
iOS 5.0.1 b2 which brings a
fix for the battery drainage bug.
Meanwhile, Phillips has worked on a useful app which will help users maximize the usage of their battery life. BatterySense offers in-depth, accurate report on how much battery life you have in your iPhone as well as how to optimize the remaining battery life to your utmost benefit.
The app gives you your battery life as a percentage as well as tabs displaying how much battery time remains for certain tasks such as calling, listening to tunes, watching video, gaming and of course standby time.
What`s really awesome about it is the “what if†feature which allows you to set a goal of how your battery performance can be tweaked by customizing certain settings to achieve a certain goal and notifies you of what can be tweaked to achieve that goal. So, instead of running around closing apps on seeing a 10% battery life, you can accurately know which apps you need to close to achieve your end goal.
There are a lot of tweaks like that one, but this is the most accurate.
You can download the app from iTunes.
