The iPhone 4S was officially released yesterday and it’s already recording huge sales numbers for U.S. carriers. AT&T in an email to BGR confirmed that it has activated a record-setting number of iPhones and is on track to double its previous record of activation in a single day.
Sprint, a first time carrier for the iPhone, has reported the sales a huge success being†it`s best day ever of sales in retail, web, and telesales for a device family in Sprint historyâ€.
Sprint is the only U.S. iPhone carrier that currently offers an unlimited data plan to its customers.
