Apple Ranks Second in Greenpeace Report; Criticised For Planned Obsolescence Of Its Devices

Greenpeace today published its Guide to Greener Electronics report where it provides information and rates the environmental practices of major companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and others. The report ranks the company based on their energy use, resource consumption, and chemical used. Apple ranked second in the report trailing only Fairphone, a startup known for making smartphones with minimal impact on the environment.
