Foxconn-led Consortium Backed by Apple, Dell, and Potentially Google to Bid for Toshiba’s Chip Business

Foxconn’s CEO had previously revealed that Apple and Amazon would be chipping in funds to help the Chinese company’s bid to acquire Toshiba’s lucrative chip business. Now, Terry Gou, Foxconn’s founder and CEO, has said that both Apple and Dell will be joining a Foxconn-led consortium to that will be bidding for Toshiba’s chip business.
