Facebook Messenger updated with support for third-party apps

During the company’s annual F8 conference last week, Facebook announced changes to its Messenger app that turn the communication tool into a platform for third-party apps. Today, Facebook rolled out its first update to Messenger for the iPad and iPhone, bringing support for these newly integrated apps to iOS users.
