Apple has published a knowledge base document, which was first spotted Re/code, where it has acknowledged the problem with yesterday’s iOS 8.0.1 update, which resulted in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users not being able to make calls or use Touch ID.
In a rare move, Apple was forced to pull the update.
