The US Government Lobbied for Apple Stores in India

Last month, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook confirmed that Apple will be opening its first retail store in India in 2021. The company had been trying to get the necessary approval from the Indian government for the last few years but only managed to succeed now. As it turns out, the White House lobbied for Apple which paved the way for the company to officially have a retail presence in the country.
