Apple has officially released the first beta for its upcoming iOS 12.1.2 software update. Apple has also released new beta versions for its watchOS and macOS. Earlier this month Apple released the final version of iOS 12.1.1 software update.

The Cupertino company is now moving forward with its next version of its mobile operating system. It has released the first beta of iOS 12.1.2, watchOS 5.1.3, tvOS 12.1.2, and macOS 10.14.3 Mojave. Being a point update, iOS 12.1.2 will be nothing more than bug fixes, performance improvements, and behind the scene tweaks – ironing out the general issues with iOS 12.1.1 final version.

We should not completely rule out the chances of Apple slipping in a new feature as well. For instance, iOS 12.1 brought in Group FaceTime after a long delay from Apple and despite being a point update, watchOS 5.1.2 brought the highly anticipated ECG feature for the Apple Watch Series 4.

For now, it remains to be seen what Apple actually added to this new iOS 12.1.2 beta. If we discovered any major new addition to the iOS 12.1.2 beta version, we will update this page accordingly.

If you are registered iOS developer, you can download iOS 12.1. beta 3 from Apple’s Developer Center. If your device is already running a beta version, you can update to latest beta as an Over-the-Air update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. However, if you’re new to beta installation, you need to properly configure the beta profile on your iOS device. Follow this detailed guide to set up a beta profile and install it:
