When iOS 10 was released, many people were infuriated that Apple removed the ‘Slide to Unlock’ feature from the Lock screen, a functionality that was present since the early days of iOS. Instead, Apple has replaced it with ‘Press home to unlock’, which as the name implies, requires users to press the Home button to get past the Lock screen and unlock their device.
