super mario run

During a major media event in September, Nintendo announced that its popular Mario character will be coming to iOS dubbed as ‘Super Mario Run.’ Ahead of games availability across alliOS devices on September 15, Nintendo’s America president Reggie Fils-Aime announced that the playable demos of Super Mario Run will be available on all the iOS devices across Apple’s retail store in the world starting today.

Super Mario Run Gameplay

Reggie announced the ‘Super Mario Run’ playable demos on the The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. It is the first time that Nintendo has partnered with Apple to offer playable demos of any of its games on the display devices available across all of Apple’s Retail Stores.

The gameplay of ‘Super Mario Run’ is pretty much identical to many runner-based games available in the App Store. Engadget, however, claims that ‘Super Mario Run’ has the level of depth and polish that few games in the App Store have. This is what makes ‘Super Mario Run’ a fun game to play and justifies the high price tag of $9.99.

Nintendo will make available a free version of the game available in App Store. The free version of ‘Super Mario Run’ will offer first three levels for free and a few Toad Rallies as well.

Nintendo is all set to release Super Mario Run for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch in the App Store on December 15th. Nintendo will notify you automatically about the availability of the game if you sign up on the Super Mario Run page on the App Store.

We’ll update you as soon as ‘Super Mario Run’ by Nintendo is available for download in the App Store. Stay Tuned!
