Apple has released yet another version of its beta software for the upcoming public release of macOS Sierra 10.12.1.
Apple has seeded the fourth developer beta of 10.12.1. As it stands, and based on the previous beta seed, there doesn’t appear to be any significant software upgrades or new additions to the software. Indeed, the fourth beta appears to continue to focus on behind-the-scenes tweaks and adjustments, fixing any issues that have been discovered since the release of macOS Sierra earlier this month.
The new beta can be installed as an over-the-air update via the Mac App Store for machines that are already running the third beta. It’s also available on Apple’s dedicated site for developers.
Apple has also merged the developer beta and the public beta releases, meaning the fourth public beta is now available as well. It should be available as an over-the-air update on devices running the third public beta.
If anything new is discovered in the new developer beta, we’ll update this post accordingly.
