Apple usually pushed five to six beta versions until the final version of the mobile operating system is made available to the general public. The release notes ofiOS 10.1 so far reveals that this upcoming software update for iPhone, iPad,and iPod Touch is meant to fix motion handling and with this version of iOS, the developers will be able to access barometric pressure data for the iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 devices.

Additionally, the iOS 10.1 also brings Portrait mode for the iPhone 7 Plus users allowing them to take shallow depth-of-field shots, similar to the ones you can take with a DSLR. Pictures taken in Portrait mode will put the main focus on the main object, while the background will have a slight blur.

You can download and install iOS 10.1 on your compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch as an OTA (over-the-air) update if your device is enrolled as a test device in a developers account.
