Developers Unable to Register 9.7-Inch iPad Pro with Apple for Testing Purposes

Many developers over at Apple support forums are complaining that they are not able to register the UDID of their 9.7-inch iPad Pro in their developer account. The problems has nothing to do with the iOS version, since it persisted for the developers even after installing the iOS 9.3.2 update.
