During its earnings call, Qualcomm’s CEO Steve Mollenkopf hinted to analysts that the company is going to lose some modem orders from Apple for the iPhone 7. Qualcomm has long supplied Apple with baseband for the iPhone, but the Cupertino company is expected to at least partly shift to an Intel modem with the iPhone 7 this year.
