Less than ten days after it began a staggered rollout of live video broadcasting capability, Facebook on Friday said the feature is now available to iOS users in thirty markets total.

“We’ll continue to roll this out to more people as well as Pages in countries around the world in the coming weeks,“ the social networking giant has confirmed.

Facebook says people on average watch a video on Facebook more than three times longer when it is live compared to when it is not live. Also, more than 50 percent of people watching live videos on Facebook are using Android devices. In the next week, Facebook will begin rolling out the ability for Android users to start live broadcasts on their devices, beginning with the United States and more countries coming soon.

Unfortunately, the company does not provide a list of markets where Facebook Live is available so you’ll have to check manually in Facebook’s iOS app if this feature is available to you.

Just tap tap “What’s on your mind?” at the top of your News Feed in the mobile app. If Facebook Live is available to you, you will see the new Live Video icon which lets you start your own live video broadcast.
