Yahoo and Microsoft to battle it out with Google next year to become the default search engine in Safari for iOS

Last week, Mozilla decided to replace Google as its default browser, and instead opted for Yahoo. While small, this was definitely a very important victory for Yahoo over Google. However, it looks like the company has its eye set on something much bigger — becoming the default search engine in Apple’s Safari web browser for iOS devices.
