Well it looks like that Apple has just stopped signing out iOS 7.1.2. So in case you are planning to downgrade your iPhone to iOS 7.1.2 very soon, I am sorry to tell you that you are out of luck. Apple no longer accepts downgrades to iOS 7.1.2.

Well known iOS hacker iH8sn0w has just confirmed on his twitter account that Apple has stopped signing iOS 7.1.2, meaning that the downgrade window for going back to the previous software version through iTunes is now closed.

So what does this briefly means ? iOS 7.1.2 is the newest iPhone/iPad and iPod Touch softwares that has an untethered jailbreak available, while those who upgraded their devices to iOS 8 or upper will not be able to return back to iOS 7.1.2, probably not in the near future…

There is no publicly available jailbreak for iOS 8.0, 8.0.1 or 8.0.2, and there has been little traction within the jailbreak scene in terms of a new exploit or method being discovered. As always, we will keep you locked about the latest updates from the so-called evad3rs and other prominent members of the jailbreaking community.

Here’s a tweet from iH8sn0w:

So what do you think guys ? Are you on iOS 8 or iOS 7 ?
