So right now we have the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, both of them considered as the most popular and powerful Apple devices. Today our friends at iPhoneHacks decided to put the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus head to head and they throw in the iPhone 5s for good measure.

Our friends made many tests on the three iPhone models from Boot Test, Network test, stock apps running, Game loading test, GeekBench 3.0 test and more…

Boot Test

When making a boot test, the iPhone 5s was the last one to show Apple logo, it was actually the first one to show the lock screen, therefor the winner in this test. In second we had the iPhone 6 followed shortly by the iPhone 6 Plus.

Network test

At Apple’s iPhone 6 event, the company stated that they have upgraded the LTE wireless in both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. In the iPhone 5s we saw a speed of 9.2/.63 Mbps while the iPhone 6 came in at 11.43/.63 Mpbs and the iPhone 6 Plus won this test with 11.73/.72 Mpbs. That’s a nice improvement from the iPhone 5s.

Stock apps

There is no big or noticeable difference when opening stock apps. I did a test with a few of the apps and when I opened the camera app, the iPhone 5s actually opened up quicker, but later when I tried it again, it was pretty much the same. I wouldn’t look at this really being an improved feature on the iPhone 6/6+.

Game Loading Test

When loading Infinity Blade 3, which is an older game, yet still is graphically demanding and has a pretty long introduction video when opening the game for the first time, there was a pretty clear winner, but the margin wasn’t too big. In first we had the iPhone 6, then the iPhone 6 Plus, and last we had the iPhone 5s. It was a pretty small margin, but the faster A8 chip squeaked by with a win.

Finally you can watch iPhoneHacks full video that cover the three devices models from speed test, network test and more…
