We all know that Apple released iOS 7.0.6 which fixes a security flaw.. For those unfamiliar with the term, a man-in-the-middle attack is where a malicious program poses as a trusted website to intercept communications or inject malware. It’s capable of stealing sensitive info like usernames, passwords and even credit card numbers. Now you don’t need to update your iPhone to iOS 7.0.6 and re-jailbreak again using Evasi0n7 untethered jailbreak which was updated to support iOS 7.0.6, here’s how:

Today Ryan Petrich the well known developer and the guy behind too many popular jailbreak tweaks like Barrel and more, has just came with a new patch available on his own repo called SSLPatch, this patch simply patches the SSL bug discovered in some devices that Apple fixed it in iOS 7.0.6…
Users had to updated to iOS 7.0.6 in order to fix this bug, but thankfully Ryan is here with his new SSLPatch which fixes the bug and doesn’t force you to update your device…

You will have to add Ryan Petrich repo first to install the patch:  http://rpetri.ch/repo/

Once you add the repo, search for SSLPatch. The SSLPatch page has a link to the analysis of the bug it fixes, along with a link to the code on GitHub if you’d like to inspect what it does.

Install the SSLPatch tweak in order to be protected while running firmware lesser than iOS 7.0.6. In my opinion, this is more of a stopgap solution, and I still recommend eventually updating to iOS 7.0.6, but SSLPatch is a good way to protect yourself in the interim.
