iLife app suite is being revamped by Apple today for iOS and Mac, and
this comes at the right time for iOS 7 and OS X Mavericks. iMovie,
iPhoto and Garageband have all been redesigned for desktop and mobile.

And
considering that apps for desktops haven’t seen much update in a while,
it is great news for those who are used to using apps with the OS X
bundle. All the OS X and iOS apps are available free of cost today.

At
the stage, Eddy Cue talked about how the applications now feature
support for iCloud, implying that saved projects for all the 3 of the
apps on desktop and mobile can be accessed from anywhere, and that
includes Apple TV as well.

There’s also a simple look that has
been included in the update with the design cues that are present in the
old versions of OS X and iOS. Cue also said that apps will be able to
leverage the performance improvements in iOS 7 and Mavericks.
