After so much that has been said about the iPhone 5 on public forums. Positives and negatives both, one can only truly be able to judge the phone after using it. But even after having used it what can one really find surprising about a device that has been around long enough for people to be completely familiar with. What remains to be decided is that after using the iPhone 5 what one can possibly be surprised about. Here are a few things that users may notice when using the new iPhone 5:

First and foremost when a person picks up an iPhone 5 the weight is almost immediately differentiable, this could be somewhat expected as Apple mentioned that the iPhone 5 is 20 percent lighter than its predecessor. The reason for this is that with all that the iPhone 5 features now it only weighs 3.95 ounces which for a smartphone of the iPhone 5’s stature is incredibly light.

The second noticeable aspect of the iPhone 5 is the Maps application, even though this is hardly an app one would look to for increased improvements but it is hard to ignore with the new Turn by Turn navigation and very real Flyover features.

Also improved are the graphics on this particular app, it seems so refined that one can almost ignore the app’s shortcomings in Street View, Google Search Terms and the Public Transit Directions.

All of that said though, it is amazingly fun to use and get used to given its that kind of an app which people use all the time.

An important factor one must be careful not to ignore is the Speed of the iPhone 5, the 4G LTE connectivity speed to be more specific. The 4G running on the iPhone 5 manages to generate twice the amount of speed as a broadband connection.

When used with Facetime instead of the home Wi-Fi connection the 4G LTE proved to be faster, smoother and addictive to a certain extent.

People would have a huge decision to make when it comes to paying the prices for an incredibly convenient 4G LTE connection. Apart from this the A6 processor cannot be noticed immediately but given the speed of internet connectivity and how smoothly the apps run one can be assured of its presence in the background of all these running activities.

It was hoped that with the new iPhone 5 there would be the utilization of the Thunderbolt connector given the new connecting dock for it is much smaller, but instead we were introduced to “Lightning”. The Lightning cable packed in the iPhone 5 box connects through the USB however there is still the opportunity to make this connection more fast through a 3.0 USB or Thunderbolt. For a lot of users the Syncing Time actually matters.

The tradition was that every year Apple would change a few things about the iPhone but keep other things intact. Meaning they would invest in one “Jaw-dropping” feature that would shock everyone however this time it’s different, this time Apple has updated the phone overall with tiny things changed about every aspect of it such as

Design, Speakers, Microphone, Camera, data connection and even connector port and earphones. One can only wonder what they would do next.
