This is a new take, well new to me, on Mac security—password protecting individual apps. Right, in addition to your regular level of passwords, Mac App Blocker lets you put a password on individual apps! Sure I know some apps offer this, but apps like Mail don’t. Imagine your shared Mac at home. Do you want the kids being able to launch Quicken (or whatever finance app you use) and muck about? How about launching Scrivener and accidentally deleting a chapter or section of a document?
Exactly, no, you don’t Let’s not even start with co-workers snooping on your Mac at work or that helpful person watching your Mac at your coffee place while you go to the bathroom. I think the $5 for Mac App Blocker is well, well worth the price, don’t you?
