That`s quite some interesting news. TinyUmbrella v5.10.15 just hit the Cydia Store a few hours before Apple releases its iOS update 5.1.1. The update comes with some minor bug fixes in the first generation iPad while saving SHSH blobs.
Here are our notes about the new version:
- If you are one of the first generation iPad users or if you haven’t saved your SHSH blobs yet, TinyUmbrella v5.10.15 is a must have. Why? Because with the new version you can downgrade your device at any time without worrying about the release of the new iOS versions, and this will help you keep your device jailbroken as there is no way you could downgrade to an older ipsw without having saved your SHSH blobs.
- The bad news is that downgrading your iPhone 4S. Why? Because till now Apple signs the firmware during the restoration process. But wait, keeping your SHSH blobs saved is a good idea.
