Those of you following the A5 untethered jailbreak updates would know that the Dream Team is working on the jailbreak and making significant progress. Only a short while ago, PlanetBeing tweeted that an unsigned code used in the iPhone 4S/iPad2 untethered jailbreak is running on an iPhone 4S now which gave us all some hope that a release date might not be in the far future.
While we are waiting for the word “released”,Pod2g showcased a video of an A5 untethered jailbreak running on an iPhone 4S.
This video was shot by Dustin Howett, an iOS developer and member of the Chronic Dev Team.The hacker demos a complete untethered jailbreak on his iPhone 4S.
Pod2g has noted in his post that there is “only a few to wait now“, so hopefully this will be the last update before a near actual release.
