The iPad 3 rumors keep clamoring.Another one has just pushed its way out. An internal part image has been published by Macotakara based on a photo spotted on TVC-Mall.com, a web site owned by one of Apple`s parts suppliers. The new image compares iPad 2`s dock connector side by side with the new part which assumingly is that of the next gen-iPad.
It would also appear that Apple will stick to its 30-pin doc connector as a source of power and a way of syncing rather than switching to the industry standard USB solution chosen by other competitors.
The change in the dock connector could be due to a change in the internals of Apple`s next gen tablet. The rumored Retina display could be one reason. Still, all these are called rumors for a reason.
