Leaving no stone unturned to get a Siri-like experience on your older iOS device. Well, justified, Siri is by far the most impressive feature on the iPhone 4S and one that, until that day, couldn’t be mimicked by any other mobile phone supplier.
A new jailbreak has hit the Big Boss Repo and it`s called “ESRA” which stands for “Experimental Speech Response Application”, and judging by the name, you shouldn’t expect much from it.
ESRA does offer Siri-like functions and features for older iOS devices. However, it lacks Siri`s rea language recognition behind it. So, what you should expect is the app not recognizing what you’re saying or just gets lost and donesnt know what to do.
In its defense, Apple`s years of technological advances and the strongly-enhanced Siri cant just be pulled off in a jailbreak tweak, but that doesn’t mean developers shouldn’t try.
If you decide to give the app a try, you`ll of course need a jailbroken iPhone using RedSnow.
