Facebook has just released a new update for its iPhone, iPad app bringing a fix for the comments bug that prevailed in the iOS app of the most popular social network. Imagine the magnitude of a bug like this in a social network that has 600 million users worldwide.
In case you`re unfamiliar, Facebook comments bug means that if you tapped on a picture to open it, the app would display a totally different picture. If you swiped to reveal the comments in hope of adding one yourself, the app would display comments that were not relevant to that particular picture.
This bug has become a source of annoyance for many iPhone users. The only solution was to manually go in the album where that picture was located in and launch it from the grid which, goes without saying, is time-consuming and boring.
To end this miserable situation, Facebook released version 4.0.3 of the iOS app in iTunes store. It`s a minor update meaning it only brings the comments bug fix, no added features. It`s a free download. You`ll need an iPhone or an iPad running iOS 3 or higher.
